【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversglassfiberunsupportedneedledfeltbinder-freeinsulationforthermalinsulation.Thismaterialisusedasthethermalinsulationcomponentinthefabricationofinsulationsystemsforuseonmachineryandequipment,suchassteamturbines,boilers,boilerfeedpumps,andpipingattemperaturesupto1200176F(650176C).1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Note1-ThisstandardisaconsensusstandardtoprovideasubstituteformilitaryspecificationMIL-I-16411E.
