【摘要】:1Thisstandardspecifiesthesafetyrequirementsandmeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesign,constructionandsupply(includinginstallation,setting-up,maintenance,andrepair)ofmachineswhoseprimaryintendeduseisforsawingcoldmetal(ferrousandnon-ferrous),ormaterialpartlyofcoldmetal,bymeansofasawblade.2Thisstandardtakesintoaccounttheintendeduse,reasonablyforeseeablemisuse,machinesettingandbladefitting,maintenanceandcleaning,andtheireffectsonthesafetyofoperatorsandotherexposedpersons.Itpresumesaccesstothemachinefromalldirectionsatfloorlevelandaddressesbothnormaloperationandunexpectedorunintendedstarting.3Thisstandardappliestotheancillarydeviceswhichformanintegralpartofthemachine.Wheresuchdevicesarenotanintegralpartofthemachine,thedesigner,manufacturerorsupplieroftheinstallationshouldtakeintoaccounttheirintendeduse,andshouldmakeprovisionforthesafelinkingofsuchdeviceswiththemachine.4Thisstandardappliesto(metal)sawingmachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofpublicationbyCENofthisstandard.
